It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pat Hammontree (Bucyrus, Ohio), born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on February 10, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Hammontree and Ida Hammontree (Layman); his in-laws, Delmar and Stella Valle; and his brother-in-law Garrie Kutz.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Hammontree; his daughters, Angela Obrecht (Jon) and Tricia Calder (Jason); his granddaughter Elizabeth Obrecht; his siblings, Lawrence "Butch" Hammontree (Doris), Michael Hammontree (Joan) and Barbara Cavender (Larry); and his sister-in-law Marie Kutz. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions are encouraged to be made payable to Bucyrus Backpack Program or Crawford County Council on Aging (for Meals on Wheels) and given through the funeral home.
