Spears of Bucyrus, Ohio, born in Coalwood, West Virginia, who passed away on March 13, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Spears and Lucille Spears (Foley); his brothers, Herb and Jim Spears; his son Michael Spears; his granddaughter Samantha Clinard; and his daughter-in-law Carolyn Spears.

He is survived by: his wife Arlene Spears (Allard); his children, Teresa Spears Hensley of Bucyrus, Greg Spears of Bucyrus and Renea Clinard (Mark) of Bucyrus; his stepdaughters, Sharon Petty (Craig) of Bucyrus and Susan Elliott (Scott) of Upper Sandusky, OH; his brothers, Benny Spears (Cathy) of Crestline and Johnny Spears of Bucyrus; and his grandchildren, Laci Balster (Matt) of Columbus, Rachael Spears of Bucyrus, Travis Spears of Bucyrus, Tyler Spears (Tony) of Wapakoneta, Leah Hinderer (Jonathan) of Columbus, Dereck Hensley of Bucyrus, Cortney DeJean of Bucyrus, Dylan Petty (Carolyn) of Cincinnati and Matthew McReynolds of Florida.
