He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Banks and Florence Banks (Davis); his son Randy Lee Banks; his siblings, Charles Banks, James Norman Banks, John Banks Sr., Luther Banks Sr., Robert Banks, Ronald Banks, Tommy Banks, Mary Thomas and Linda Sue Banks; his nephew Nathan Banks; and his granddaughter Randi Leigh Banks.
He is survived by: his son Richard Banks Jr.; his grandchildren, Ariahne Banks and Owen Banks; and his brothers, Donald Banks (Lisa) and Norman Lee Banks.
