He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Auck and Bertha Auck (Ackerman). He is survived by: his wife Linda Auck; his daughters, Michele Berg (George), Bethany Sobers (Craig Kerschner) and Rachel Wood (Andrew); his grandchildren, Ali Stiger (Jess), Aaron Berg (Brenna), Ethan Berg, Kiley Sobers, Kaitlyn Keppler (Joe Grogg), Tyler Wood and Zoe Wood; his great grandchildren, Brantley, Charlotte, Walker and Holly; and his siblings, Susie Hamman (Gary), Denis Auck (Teresa), Nancy Delaney (Steve) and Micki Childs. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews.

Memorial contributions are encouraged to be made payable to Hope Lodge, who was so hospitable to Rodney during his cancer treatments in Cleveland, or Bucyrus Nazarene Church.
