He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Cotsmire and Edith Cotsmire (Hildebrand); and his daughter Valerie Clinard. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Cotsmire; his sons, Doug Cotsmire, Daniel Cotsmire (Tracy) and Timothy Cotsmire (Jody); his grandchildren, Jesse Cotsmire, Rebecka Clinard (Josh Laferty), Misty Clinard, Katelyn Cotsmire (Matt Barr) and Jeremy Cotsmire; his great grandchild Zelma; and his sister Sandy Wertz (Ed).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:25 PM at the Wise Funeral Service (129 W Warren St, Bucyrus, OH 44820). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions can be made payable to Meals on Wheels or National Multiple Sclerosis Society and given at the funeral home.
