She was predeceased by: her parents, Bertis K. Geiger and Helen B. Geiger (Shealy); her husband Donald Knappenberger; her son-in-law Randy Armstrong; and her siblings, Erma Crabaugh (Albert), Lois Walker (Loren) and Eldon Geiger (Dolores).

She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy Stuckman (Brad) of Bucyrus, Sandy Armstrong of Bucyrus and Jackie LaRue (Tim) of Bucyrus; her stepchildren, Jim Knappenberger (Terri) of Cincinnati and Jan Yorgen of Pittsburgh, PA; her grandchildren, Ryan Armstrong, Nick Stuckman of Decatur, TX, Cory LaRue (Natilee) of Bucyrus, Matthew Stuckman (Kate) of Delaware, Kelly Cole (Todd) of Mt. Gilead, Reed Chamberlin of Reno, NV, Eric Knappenberger (Elizabeth) of London, England of Cincinnati, OH, Anna Knappenberger of Cincinnati, OH, Sarah Knappenberger of Cincinnati, OH and Ryan Yorgen (Katie) of Pittsburgh, PA; and her caregivers, Barb Gerber and Carla Barnett. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
