She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Rice and Ezell Rice (Waller); her son Michael Russell; and her siblings, Jerry Grimes, Charles Rice, Sammy Rice, Carolyn Davidson and Cathy Bloomfield.
She is survived by: her children, Reggie Russell (Bobbie Jo), Scott Russell (Kelby), Emily Jo Parker and Ava Raine Parker. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
