He was predeceased by: his parents, Scott Hastings and Pearl Hastings (Shreve); his former wife Imogene Hastings (Drake); and his daughter Ronda Lorain Hastings. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Hastings (Blicke); and his daughters, Leesa Hastings and Darla Hastings.

Memorial donations are encouraged to be made payable to the Humane Society serving Crawford County and given through the funeral home.
