As Walter Lee departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Walter Lee may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Walter Lee leaves behind.

He was predeceased by: his sister Sharon Gruener. He is survived by: his daughters, Carrie Nichelson (Grant) of Bucyrus, Pamela Mason and Toni Mason of Glendale Arizonia; his grandchildren, Olivia Benton of Bucyrus and William Benton of Denver; his brothers, Calvin Long and Woody Wright; and his brother-in-law Edward Gruener.

The family suggest memorials be in the form of contributions to the Crawford County Humane Society.
