He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Rufener (Ed) and Martha Miller Rufener; and his wife Mary Beth Bornes. He is survived by: his son Richard John "R. J." Rufener (Lisa); his granddaughters, Katie and Marcie; and his great grandchild Kori Beth.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Galloway-Onstott Funeral Home (3451 OH-7, Burghill, OH 44424). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
