With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Vance George Wonderly Jr. of Burghill, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Vance left this world on August 3, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family. Though Vance may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Vance touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vance G. Wonderly, Sr. and Daisy Lewis Wonderly; and his sisters, Geraldine, Marceda, Bonnie and Vivian.
He is survived by: his wife Emily Moon Wonderly; his children, Sherry Mizicko of Orlando, Eileen Ocheltree (Mark) of Kinsman and Vance G. Wonderly III (Barbara) of Franklinton; and his sisters, Beatrice Welch of Butler and Carol Bohr of Austintown. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Galloway-Onstott Funeral Home (3451 OH-7, Burghill, OH 44424). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
