He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Monroe and Louella Monroe (Eaves); his stepmother Kathryn Monroe; his son Billy Monroe; his siblings, Gene Monroe, Patricia Monroe and Sheree Corum; and his grandson Dennis Aaron.
He is survived by: his wife Cherie Monroe; his daughters, Dawn Flores and Tina Stump (Brad); his brother Kenneth Wilbur (Janet); and his grandchildren, Megan Monroe, Angelica Aaron, Katelynn Monroe and Jacob Aaron. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
