He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Mullett and Amanda Mullett (Gingerich); his wife Patricia (O'Malley); his daughter Patti Mullett; and his siblings, Ann Judd, Sara Cofer, Ruth Mullett, Bill, Sam, John, Albert, Cal, Owen and Paul.
He is survived by: his son James R. Mullett II of Texas; his stepchildren, Richard Fairbanks, Victoria Fairbanks and Michael Fairbanks; and his sisters, Ada Larson and Bette Fairbanks. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
