He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hoar and Lillian Hoar (Krause); his sisters, Ellen Svoboda (Richard) and Eileen Schaffert (Roger); and his daughter-in-law Mollie Hoar.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his children, Joel Hoar (Lindsey), Ryan Hoar (Samantha), Scott Hoar (Aimee) and Erin Hoar Detwiler (Dan); his grandchildren, Campbell, Jonathan, Alison-Claire, Liam, Ella, Harper, Frankie, Charlie, Morgan and Daniel; and his siblings, Charles Hoar (Debbie), Joyce Bosley and Sally Boveington (Bob). He is also survived by many niece, nephews, and friends.
