With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Tad VanderMaas of Burton, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 3, 2026 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Boyd VanderMaas; his sister Mary Anderson; his mother Carol Day; his mother-in-law Elane Giel; his brother-in-law Bo Giel; and his father-in-law John Giel.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl; his sons, Bryan, Pete and Opey; and his brother Todd.
