We announce the death of Daniel E. McFarland of Butler, Ohio, who passed away on October 13, 2026, at the age of 75. Daniel will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth McFarland and Betty McFarland (Poling); and his sister Lois Fletcher. He is survived by: his wife Sharon McFarland (McDonald); his daughters, Jaime Bevington (Jason) of Butler, OH and Carrie Pribbenow (Joshua) of Mount Veron, OH; his grandchildren, Tyler Bevington (Krystal), Cody Bevington (Mariah), Jauslynn Pribbenow, Jailee Pribbenow and Jasmine Pribbenow; his great grandchildren, Isabell, Timothy, Kaiden, Jensen, Zuri and Adley; his siblings, Charles McFarland (Patricia) of Butler, OH and Patricia Frost (Larry) of Mount Vernon, OH; and his brother-in-law Jeff Fletcher.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Snyder Funeral Homes, Flowers Chapel (619 E High St, Mt Vernon, OH 43050). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
