She was predeceased by: her parents, Doris Cate and Virgil Cate; her husband Victor Baker; and her daughter Christina Carpenter. She is survived by: her daughters, Candy Salyer and Mickie Hudson; her grandchildren, Allen Salyer, T. J. Hudson (Maria), Nicole Jones (Travis), Joe Leonard, Sara Lewis (David), Kyle Leonard, Amber Stoodt (Colin) and James D. Carpenter; and her siblings, Dan (Italia), Vickie (Jerry) and Bud (Brenda). She is also survived by her extended family & many good friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home (139 S Dixie Dr, Vandalia, OH 45377). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
