He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. Hayer and Willie Mae Warden (McCraven); and his stepfather Frank Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Teresa "Teri" Hayer (Larrick); his children, Mike Paisley of Cambridge, Carl Garner (Kelly) of Salesville, James Paisley (Tonya) of Germany and Joyce Roffee (Don) of Cumberland; his sister Tami Helter (George) of Kimbolton; and his grandchildren, Rachel, Sarah, Daniel, Levi, Katie, Alex, Kenzie and Cory. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Black-Epperson Funeral Home - Byesville (231 Main St, Byesville, OH 43723). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
