He was predeceased by: his parents, Albertus Sr. Ridgway and Katherine Touvell Ridgway; his daughter Brenda Emmons; his granddaughters, Bobbie Joe Wilson, Ashton Noel Ridgway and Breanna Nikkol Ridgway; and his brothers, Albertus "Burt" Ridgway Jr. and Gary Ridgway.

He is survived by: his wife Velma Gayle Rominger Ridgway; his children, Nancy Sue Ridgway of South Carolina, William Wilson (Shana) of Cambridge and Bobby Wilson (Cheryl) of Byesville, OH; his son-in-law Jeff Emmons of Portsmouth, OH; his grandchildren, Nyle Emmons (Stephanie), Holly Wilson, Lydia Butler (Kyle), Michaela Emmons, Rheanna Wilson and Jarrett Wilson; his great grandchildren, Bentley Wilson, Adley Emmons, Kyleigh Emmons and Anna Randolph; and his brothers, Sam Ridgway (Tommy Jean) of Texas and Craig Ridgway (Margaret) of Florida. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
