We are sad to announce that on October 2, 2025, at the age of 28, Jordan Bates of Byesville, Ohio, born in Zanesville, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her great-grandparent Tommy Evans; and her stepfather Rick Lambert. She is survived by: her mother Jennifer Bates of Byesville; her children, Evan Joseph and Tommi Cherylynn; her grandparents, Cheri Evans of Byesville and Allen Bates (Dea) of Burlington, IA; her great-grandparent Gerry Evans of Byesville; her aunts, Julie Griffith and Jodi Starr (Brian); her cousins, Tye, Kage Griffith, Jett, Jake Starr and Samantha Bright; her great-aunt Stacy Bright (Charlie); and her great-uncle Scot Evans.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Black-Epperson Funeral Home (231 Main St, Byesville, OH 43723). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
