With solemn reverence, we commemorate Lewis E. Smith of Byesville, Ohio, whose life came to an end on March 31, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Smith and Margaret Smith (Kupp); his wife Margaret "Peg" Smith (Bryant); his daughter Rhonda Lou Smith; and his siblings, Donnie Smith, Melvin Smith, Linda Smith and Shirley Smart.
He is survived by: his daughters, Melodie Hill of Jensen Beach, FL, Stacie Smith of Chester, SC and Angela Decker of Mims, FL; and his close friend Janet Burgett of Cambridge. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson.
As an expression of sympathy, the family suggests memorial contributions in Lewis's name be made to the Shriners Children's Hospital, PO Box 947765, Atlanta GA 30394.
