It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael R. Conner Sr. of Byesville, Ohio, who passed away on July 20, 2025, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Michael R. Conner Sr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his mother Helen Harris (Lantz); and his grandmothers, Bessie May Lantz (Helmick) and Ruth Deloris Harris (Eddy). He is survived by: his father Gene Harris of Byesville; his children, Cynthya Repasky of Phenix, AL, Michael R. Conner Jr. of Caldwell, Austin Conner (Megan) of Byesville, Christopher Conner (Myranda) of Byesville and Travis Harper; his siblings, H. William Harris (Angela) of Westerville and Rebecca Sandidge (Allen) of Minneola, FL; his grandchildren, Alexandria, Gabrielle, Willow, Bode and Sidney; his close friend George Payton; the mother of his children Lorrie Ann Conner; and his pet Max. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Black-Epperson Funeral Home (231 Main St, Byesville, OH 43723). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
He was an organizer of the Youth Shooting Sports Foundation (YSSF).
