He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Dellinger and Hazel Dellinger (Dodson); his former wife Juanita Wells; his brothers, Harold and Kenneth; his son Kyle; and his grandson Ryan.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his brother Richard Dellinger (Liz); his children, Tom Dellinger (Kyristy), Chris Dellinger (Cheryl), Lindsay Fadorsen, Chrissy Marshall (Brent), Terie Rives, Tim Fadorsen (Michelle) and Dave Fadorsen (Sally); and his close friend Jon Goembel. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
