He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Gordon Sr. and Karen Jacobs (Ron); his brother Richard Dean Brown; and his half-brother Charles Gordon Gilliland. He is survived by: his husband Gerald Brown; his siblings, Joseph Brown (Bobbie), Dwight Wayne Brown, Joseph Gordan Brown Jr. (Jessica), Buffy Jo Packard (Jeremy) and Kimberly Jean Lewis (Jason); and his grandmother Doris Byers. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial gathering was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Skillman McDonald & Vernon Funeral Home (257 W Main St, Mechanicsburg, OH 43044).
