He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Mehl and Edna Mehl; and his daughter Cathy Mehl. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Mehl; his sons, Chuck Jr. (Annette), Gary (Diana) and Chad Mehl; his grandchildren, Jordan, Tyler (Kelsey), Sarah, Christa, Carissa, Aryeh, Alexsandra, Jeremiah, Kari, Sydney and Josie; his great grandchildren, Aria, Ezra, Aiden and Arlo; and his sister Edna-Pauline Dunfee.
