With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martha Betts of Cadiz, Ohio, who passed away on April 17, 2026 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Frank Collier; her husband Rev. Samuel Betts; her mother Martha Collier Sledden (Ramsay); her stepfather Frank Sledden; her former husband James Simpson Jr.; her sons, James M. Simpson and Jamie R. Simpson; her brother Paul Collier Sr.; and her grandsons, James Mellott and Michael Yocum.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathie Yocum (Dean) and Vickie Mellott; and her stepchildren, Cheryl Royer (Roger), Daniel Betts (Sulinda) and David Betts (Heather). She is also survived by her loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
