Roy Hildreth Jr. Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roy Hildreth Jr. of Cadiz, Ohio, who passed away on July 17, 2025 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Hildreth, Sr. and Ella Floyd Hildreth; his son George Hildreth; his stepmother Helen Hildreth; his siblings, Dola Currie, Thelma Carter Mecham, Tulsa Snyder, Dorothy Herrick, Kenneth and Raymond Hildreth; and his stepbrothers, Charles and Dwain Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Rodney Hildreth (Jane), Barbara Hildreth and Sandra Fletcher; and his grandchildren, Chace Smith (Erin), Nichole Thomas (Chris), Chris Hildreth, Matt Hildreth (Shelly) and Jim Hildreth (Brittny). He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Clark-Kirkland-Barr Funeral Home (172 S Main St, Cadiz, OH 43907). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Harrison County Military Support Group, 86990 Amsterdam Road, Jewett, Ohio 43986.
