Verne W. Norris Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verne W. Norris of Cadiz, Ohio, who passed away on July 6, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David B. Norris, and Ida M. Conner Norris, Sr.; his wife Hilda M. Grimes Norris; his siblings, John, Carl, David B. Norris, Jr., Eva Tickrick and Myrtle Arminda Endenburg; and his fiancée Barbara E. Erbacher.
He is survived by: his sons, Jim Norris of Cadiz and Steven Norris (Sarah) of North Canton; his grandson James Norris (Jesse Crawford) of Cadiz; and his children, Dan Erbacher (Linda) of New Athens and Dana Gallagher (Matthew) of St. Clairsville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Calendar Clark-Kirkland-Barr Funeral Home (172 S Main St, Cadiz, OH 43907). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Harrison County Home, 41500 Cadiz-Dennison Road, Cadiz, Ohio 43907.
