With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alan Saling Sr. of Caldwell, Ohio, who passed away on December 18, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer L. Saling and Elizabeth Cora Bond Saling; his children, Donald L. Saling and Carissa Saling; and his siblings, James Elmer Saling and Shirley Saling.
He is survived by: his wife Kelly J. Whetstone Saling; his children, Dustin A. Stottsberry of Caldwell, Gerald A. "AJ" Saling, Jr. (LeAna) of Cambridge, Brandon C. Saling of Summerfield, Travis L. F. Saling (Jessica) of Summerfield, Gilbert D. Saling of Caldwell, Kyle L. H. Saling of Cambridge, Marylynn R. Hace of Belle Valley, Michael Chappelear and Justin Chappelear; his brothers, Darrell L. Saling of Fulda and Christopher W. Saling (Erin) of Caldwell; his grandchildren, Axle, Blazze, Kannan, Cyrus, Kalahen, Aryah, Vandersyn and Meilani; and his pet Rex. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
