It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn J. Wheeler of Caldwell, Ohio, who passed away on January 1, 2026, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Evelyn J. Wheeler to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward E. McElfresh and Bessie B. Snyder McElfresh; her husband Elvin A. "Scoop" Wheeler; her former husband Richard F. Schott; and her siblings, Margie Martin, Don, Bill and Bob McElfresh.
She is survived by: her children, Kevin Schott (Linda) of Sharon, Jack Schott (Olivia) of Shreveport and Jill Kelley (John) of Zanesville; her grandchildren, Cora, Ellen, Cody, Cole, Logan, Dustin and Mitch; and her sister-in-law Patty McElfresh. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
