He was predeceased by: his mother Wilma J. Resor (Sutton); his brothers, Jaye and Douglas Resor; his wife Lynn Resor (Gordnier); and his son Dale Resor.
He is survived by: his father Raymond E. Resor; his children, Ryan Resor (Jennifer Eltringham) and Erin Rieder-Norris (Ted Norris); his daughter-in-law Melissa Resor; his grandchildren, Zyler, Treyson, Gaige, Conner, Abel Rieder, Addilynn Norris, Gavin, Cashtin Resor, Ethan and Jacob Resor; his nieces and nephews, Kyle, Kaleb Resor, Shane, Donnie Gordnier, Amber and Sheridan Resor; and his close friends, Skip and Dave Wilson. He is also survived by friends of his own and those of his children and grandchildren who loved Gary as their own father and grandfather.
He finally gets to meet Chuck Norris although he always said "I taught him everything he knows."Gary's generous spirit continued through organ donation, offering hope and help to others in need.
