She is survived by: her daughters, Cheryl Hughes (Michael) of Asheville and Grace Bates (John) of Sarahsville; her grandchildren, Heather Hughes, Mandy Hughes, Holly Hughes, Ashley Hughes, Zachary Bates (Aerica), Justin Bates and Eric Bates; her great grandchildren, Owen Bates and Emmitt Bates; her sister Juanita Graham (Lynn Guiler) of New Concord; and her son-in-law Rick Cornell. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

“So sorry to hear of this, but she is now free of the physical infirmities that hit her the last few years. I also smile when I think of the first time I met her. Somewhere along the line Pat had told her I liked chocolate pan cake. Completely unexpected she made one for me! WOW! It even surprised Pat.”
