He was predeceased by: his parents, John Joseph and Anna Irene Clasey Freeland; his son Joey Glidden; his grandson Braxton D. Glidden; and his siblings, Arletta Freeland, Barbara Foreman, Russell Freeland and Ronnie Freeland.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara D. Wittenbrook Freeland; his children, Michael B. Freeland, John R. Glidden (Laura) of Marietta, Robert Thor Glidden of Caldwell, Tim L. Glidden (Dusty) of Caldwell and Herbie D. Glidden (Tiffany Zelenski) of Coal Ridge; and his brothers, Bobby Freeland of Marietta and Keith Freeland (Julia) of Marietta. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McVay-Perkins Funeral Home (416 East St, Caldwell, OH 43724). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
