It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois E. Briggs of Caldwell, Ohio, who passed away on April 15, 2026, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles R. Doan and Virginia Paxton Doan; her daughter Amy Michelle Brown; her brother Larry W. Doan; and her sister-in-law Elaine Pilcher.
She is survived by: her husband Ronald L. Briggs; her daughter Lisa Sanford (Jeff); her grandchildren, Cameron Brown (Maya), Caleb Sanford (Lyz), Halle Miller-Niswonger (Jonathan), Gracie Haga (Michael), Isaiah Brown (Faythe) and Cheyenne Brown; her great grandchildren, Henry, Ellis Miller-Niswonger, Riley Haga, Addison and Magnolia Brown; her siblings, Phil Doan, Charles Doan (Carol), Faith Nichols and Rachel K. Franklin (Brandon); her niece Melissa Hepner; and her siblings-in-law, Gary Briggs (Barb), Fred Briggs (Susan) and Marilyn Courson (Tom). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
