She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Lawrence "Bud" Strayer and Virginia Ruth Strayer (Adams); her siblings, Marilyn, William A. Strayer and Fred A. Strayer; and her granddaughter Laura.
She is survived by: her husband Cecil Roy Carlson; her children, John Carlson, Jennifer Lewis and James Carlson (Gina); her grandchildren, Zach (Krystal), Hannah, Sully (Jenna), Cody (Madie), Griffin and Dakota; her great grandchildren, Audrey, Ben, Claire, Oliver, Jenna, Dexter and Sabrina; and her sisters-in-law, Martha Strayer and Norma Strayer. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
