She was predeceased by: her parents, George Aston and Dorothy Aston (Dolvin); her husband Walter Chumney; her daughter Denise Ann Chumney; and her brother William Aston (Bob).

She is survived by: her children, Connie Dunlap (Greg) of Cambridge, Bruce Chumney (Cynthia) of Zanesville and Andy Chumney (Jen) of Washington, PA; her grandchildren, Greg (Keleigh), Tim (Meghan), Cassandra Chumney, Christian Johnson (Madison) and Ava Chumney; her great grandchildren, Rowan and Baylor; and her brother Sam Aston. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, May 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bundy-Law Funeral Home (120 N 11th St, Cambridge, OH 43725). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
