He is survived by: his stepchildren, Lorrie Shingary, Shawn Marlatt (John), Johnny Shingary II and Heather Byard (Mike); his sister Edna Lee; his grandchildren, Blake, Layne Pressdee, Jarod Byard, Caitlyn Byard (Leea), Allysa Marlatt, Cody, Tyler and Falon Watterson; Steve Pressdee (Diane) and Patty Toland (Brad). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to a cancer association or a local Hospice organization.
