He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Willis Fairchild and Dorothy Fairchild (Saft); his sister Delores West; and his grandson Aaron Reed. He is survived by: his wife Stephanie Fairchild (Lilly); his daughters, Margaret E. Reed (Ohlen Cartmell), Susanna M. Mascolino (Robert), Caroline L. Googins (Guy) and Catherine A. Stevens (Wayne); his siblings, Deborah Kintner of Louisiana, Douglas Fairchild of Cambridge, David Allen Fairchild (Joyce) of Delaware and Daniel Eric Fairchild (Tjuana) of Groveport; and his brother-in-law Craig West of New Concord. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
