He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Ellwood Ryan and Laura Ryan (Gillespie); his wife Donna J. Ryan (Starr); his daughter Debra Ryan; and his siblings, Isabelle McCullough, Joan Hott, Dora Jane Ryan, Mary Ann Danley, Samuel Joseph Ryan, Richard Ryan, Robert Ryan and Frank Ryan.
He is survived by: his children, Sue Bechtle (Terry) of Marion, Jan Dodd (Ronald) of Cambridge, Russ Barrett (Carol) of Clarington and Don Ryan (Delores) of Cambridge; his grandchildren, Angel, Phyllis, Shelly, Chrissy, Jen, Sarabeth, Laura, Mandy, Donnie, Matt and Megan; his great grandchildren, Keirstine, Andrew, Marci, Skylar, Taylor, Avery, Lanie, Lizzie, Ashley, Piper, Nolan, Brooklyn, Zyler, Bladen, Jayce, Riley, Kylee, Wesley, Anthony, Selena, Molly, Chord, Ellie and Zoey; his great great grandchildren, Grace, Willow, Joseph, Evelyn, Milan and Nakeem; his sister Ellen Reed of Reynoldsburg; and his siblings-in-law, Dave Danley of Cambridge and Mary Ryan of Newcomerstown. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
