He was predeceased by: his father John Howell; and his siblings, Bussy and Kim Ford. He is survived by: his mother Carol Howell (Barlow); his wife Kathy Calvey (Collins); his children, John Calvey of Newark, Billy Calvey (Tiffanie) of Cambridge, Cameron Calvey of Cambridge and Tiffany McClain (Dustin) of Newark; his siblings, Burnnie Calvey of Uhrichsville, Grady Calvey of Uhrichsville, Troy Howell of Mansfield, Theresa Best of Uhrichsville, Robin Goff of Mansfield and Jackie Yerian of Cambridge; his grandchildren, Madison, Teagan, Abigail, Olivia, Emma, Jacob, Paxton and Gauge; and his brother-in-law Mark Collins of Byesville. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Black-Epperson Funeral Home (231 Main St, Byesville, OH 43723).
