We announce the death of Georgia Albert of Cambridge, Ohio, who passed away on August 30, 2026, at the age of 85. Georgia will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Cahoon and Freda Cahoon (Rawlins); her husband John Joseph Albert; and her sister Diane Grim. She is survived by: her children, John Albert II (Samantha) of New Concord, Harold Albert of Cambridge, Julie Sposato (Ronnie) of North Port, FL and Jennifer Delik (Matt) of Cambridge; her siblings, Thomas Cahoon (Rebecca) of Cambridge and Billie Otunga of Elgin, IL; and her grandchildren, Whittney Nichols (Nathanial) of Cambridge and Samantha Delik of Cambridge. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Thorn-Black Funeral Home Inc. (139 S 9th St, Cambridge, OH 43725). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Georgias name to St. Benedict School, 220 N. 7th Street, Cambridge, Ohio 43725.
