James B. Burris Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on October 26, 2025, at the age of 72, James B. Burris of Cambridge, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint James leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo M Burris and Dorothy L. Burris (Feaster); and his brother Larry G. Burris. He is survived by: his wife Deborah E. Burris (Schimmel); his children, Travis Burris (Mallory) and Sarah King (James); his grandchildren, Elizabeth "Izzy" DeLong and Kyle DeLong; and his brother Jerry Lee Burris (Rose). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and life long friends.
