He is survived by: his children, David M. Douglas (Vanessa) of Gambier, Jay B. Douglas of Cambridge, Scott E. Douglas (Anne) of Rocky River and Janet Sue Brown (Jeff) of Fort Mill, SC; his grandchildren, Zachary (Sydney), Emily Douglas, Colin, Tyler Brown, Keath (Jordan), Austin Douglas, Elizabeth Silvey (Asher), Wade, Rebekah, Sarah and Grace Douglas; and his great grandchildren, Violet, James, Evelyn, Hattie, Opal Douglas and Phoebe Silvey.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Thorn-Black Funeral Home Inc. (139 S 9th St, Cambridge, OH 43725). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
