He was predeceased by: his parents, John Katynski and Beatrice Franzinger Katynski; and his son Mark. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Kotlarek Katynski; his children, Paul (Lori), John (Cat), Malinda, Debra (Mark) and Diane (Jimmy); and his granddaughters, RaeAnna (Damon), Katie (Mike) and Leah (Andrew). He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; a sister and brother.
