Lawrence Edward Nugent Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence Edward Nugent of Cambridge, Ohio, who passed away on June 14, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Paul Nugent and Christine Nugent (Hulka); and his sisters, Elizabeth Jackson, Barbara Nugent and Mary Ann Nugent (Margaret "Peggy" Ditto).
He is survived by: his siblings, James Nugent (Guliz) of Georgia, Bill Nugent of Colorado, Paul Nugent (Deb) of Nebraska, Winnie Wells (Henry) of Lore City and Trish Jones (Jerry) of Columbus; and his brother-in-law Bill Ditto (Flossie Daniels). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Christ Our Light Catholic Church (701 Gomber Ave, Cambridge, OH 43725). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Countryview Assisted Living Facility, 62825 County Home Rd Lore City, Ohio 43755; St Benedict School, 220 N 7th St Cambridge, Ohio 43725; or Hospice of Guernsey, P.O. Box 1165 Cambridge, Ohio 43725.
