Peggy Ann Steele Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on January 6, 2026, at the age of 94, Peggy Ann Steele of Cambridge, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Thomas Young and Beulah Cronin Young McConnell; her husband Dr. A. D. Steele Jr.; her son Scott Douglas Steele; her daughter-in-law Mary Steele; and her sister Helen Heiney.
She is survived by: her children, Karen D. Steele, Patricia D. Mollica (Anthony "Skip") of Augusta, Georgia and Curtis D. Steele of Columbus, Ohio; her daughter-in-law Chris Steele of Charlotte; her grandchildren, Meghan Rivard (Sam), Rachel Laughlin (Charles), Phillip Mollica (Caroline), Patrick Mollica (Lindsay), Eric Steele, Michael Steele and Lauren Doron (Sam); her great grandchildren, Anna, Micah, Beau, Hampton, Culley, Scottie, Connor, Finn and Ellis; and her siblings, Patty Rose, Marilyn Milhoan, Janie Wimer, Billy Young (Judy) and Bonny Fraley (Lonnie).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church, 641 Steubenville Ave., Cambridge, OH 43725, The Doug Steele Memorial Scholarship fund through Foundation for Appalachian Ohio 35 Public Square, Nelsonville, OH 45764 , the American Cancer Society, or for you to perform a good deed – help a neighbor, volunteer or support someone in need – and think of Peggy while doing it.
