We are sad to announce that on March 7, 2026, at the age of 88, Rex Pennington of Cambridge, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Rex is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Rex's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ezra Pennington and Eliza Pennington; and his son-in-law Wayne Warner. He is survived by: his wife Kay Pennington (Lawrence); his children, Melinda Warner, Richard Pennington (Julie Urdak) and Melissa Zamensky (Aaron); and his brother Bob Pennington of Keokee. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Guernsey County in recognition of the exemplary care and compassion they provided.
