She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Ehrhardt and Mamie Melton; her husband Charles Ackman; and her siblings, Caroline Brinkerhoff, Melinda Lee and Burdette Ehrhardt.
She is survived by: her siblings, Barbara Mobley (Ray), Nancy Hill and Charles Ehrhardt (Janet); her son Olen Ackman (Jennifer Young) of New Albany; and her grandchildren, Sonya Ackman (Jonathan Schwartz) of Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan., Sydney Schwartz and Sigrid Schwartz of Grosse Pointe Farms. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Fairmount Cemetery (7371 Camden Rd, Camden, OH 45311).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Humane Society of Preble County, 951 S. Barron St., Eaton, OH 45320 (humanesocietypc.com), an organization to which Mrs. Ackman was strongly devoted.
