He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ancil and Eula Lee George (Chesnut); his wife Sandy S. George; and his siblings, Shirley M. Flory (George), John A. George, Kenny R. George and Keith L. George.
He is survived by: his son Curtis George (Shelley); his grandchildren, Kendel George, Steven Pettit and Mandy Pettit; his great grandchildren, Parker and Paxton Pettit; his brother Gayle George (Vickie); his siblings-in-law, Patty George, Esther George and Jim Flory; his adoptive sons, Bruce Fornshell (Beth) and Nick Clark; and his caregiver Rhonda Stevenson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
