He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Rivera and Virginia Rivera (Santiago); his son Juan Santiago; and his siblings, Francisca Torres, Daisy Lopez, Alba Coira and Samuel Rivera.
He is survived by: his wife Marie Rivera of Campbell; his children, Emma Rivera of Campbell, Alido Rivera, Jr. of Tennessee, Manny Rivera (Elizabeth) of Tennessee, Benjamin Santiago (Mylissa) of Campbell, Crystal Ruscoe (Robert) of Struthers and Alison Rivera of Struthers; and his brothers, Asdrubul Rivera (Maria Lou) and Jose Rivera (Maryann). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren.
